75-year-old John Force races to record 157th NHRA victory at New England Nationals

 At the NHRA New England Nationals on Sunday, 75-year-old John Force defeated teammate ,,,

 Austin Prock in the Funny Car final to win his record 157th NHRA race.

 Force ran 4.081 seconds at 319.29 mph in his Chevrolet Camaro SS, while Prock raced 4.096 at 316.38.  

 “We had a good race car and driving this hot rod and all these fans keeps me alive,” Force remarked.  

 “Our teamwork is most important. I wouldn't be here without this crew."  

 Force won twice this season and three times at New England Dragway.  

 After winning the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge on Saturday, the 16-time Funny Car season champion moved up the standings on Sunday.  

 The Top Fuel and Pro Stock winners were Doug Kalitta and Troy Coughlin Jr.  

 Kalitta beat Tony Schumacher in his dragster with 3.802 at 332.92. The reigning NHRA champion has won at all current tracks.
