Arkansas basketball loses top transfer.

Oumar Ballo has committed to Indiana and may not visit Arkansas.

On Tuesday afternoon, 247Sports national recruiting analyst Eric Bossi tweeted that the 7-0, 260-pound former Arizona center ,

had canceled his Louisville visit and was scheduled to visit new Arkansas head coach John Calipari in Fayetteville.

The update above shows that changed.

Ballo, the 247Sports NCAA Transfer Portal's top prospect, played three seasons at Arizona after starting his career at Gonzaga.

Last season, the 7-0, 260-pound big man averaged 12.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 0.9 steals on 65.8% shooting from the field and 49.5% from the foul line in 36 Wildcats games.

Last season, Ballo averaged 15.6 rebounds per 40 minutes and had a 15.1 offensive rebound percentage, ranking in the 97th percentile all collegiate basketball players.

Arkansas signed former Kentucky big man Zvonimir Ivisic on Monday, its first under Calipari. The Razorbacks have 12 scholarship spots for next season.

Ballo played little at Gonzaga as a freshman before following Tommy Lloyd to Arizona three years ago.

He averaged 12.9 points and 10.1 rebounds this year as a two-year Wildcat starter.

He concluded his career at Arizona with the program's highest field goal % and top ten double-doubles, blocks, and rebounds.
