NCAA tournament 2018: Loyola-Chicago gets inspiration from 98-year-old nun

 The 98-year-old grandmother waited at the basketball court corner as Loyola-Chicago's players celebrated their 64-62 shock win against Miami on Thursday.  

 Without her wheelchair, Sister Jean Dolores-Schmidt would have joined the festivities.

 Sister Jean, the longstanding team chaplain, practically jumped with joy at the American Airlines Center.  

 “Thank God, thank God we did it,” she remarked after the show.  

 We knew we'd do this. Our team is so great that they don't care who scores as long as we win.  

 Sister Jean, white-haired and bespectacled, prays before games. She gives scouting reports in person and by email.
