On Yellowstone, the romance is heating up. I know a lot of people watch it for the cowboys and the ranch, but I watch it for the romance,"
" Perabo explained. "We are cranking up the heat. It's been a tough couple of years; let's turn up the heat for a moment."
The possible romance may have started off on the wrong foot, with John throwing Summer in jail after a violent protest outside Kayce Dutton's (Luke Grimes) cattle office.
John made amends by bailing her out of jail, and they quickly formed a friendship based on mutual respect.
Things improved marginally when Summer spent a platonic night at the Yellowstone ranch, only for John's daughter Beth (Kelly Reilly) to draw a kitchen knife on her the next morning, but genuine love gathers no stainless steel, as the old adage goes... I think.
When asked to sum up working with her leading guy in one word, Perabo said, "Wow." This could be an indication of things to come.
